Francesco was sprawled on the couch with a high fever, his nose dripping like a broken faucet.
Viola looked worriedly at him. “You don’t look great.”
“I’m fine,” he muttered, pulling the blanket tighter around himself as he coughed.
“And this unruly mess you call hair?” she asked. “You haven’t brushed it in two days.”
He pouted dramatically. “I’m sick.”
“I know,” she murmured. “Which reminds me… it’s time for your medicine.”
“I don’t need it,” he grumbled, coughing even harder.
“Yes, you do. Don’t start!”
Viola held out the spoon. Francesco made a tragic face, then finally took it.
