Title: True Bravery
Fandom: Harry Potter
Rating: G

It was true Gryffindors were brave, but Harry Potter knew bravery came in many forms.  Leaping in without considering the consequence (yes, being reckless was another Gryffindor trait) was one form of bravery.  But those Harry truly admired were the people like Hermione, who was brave because of her desire to protect her friends, whatever she thought (and sometimes said) concerning their actions.  And those like Neville who were prepared to face their fear and then act, despite it.  In his mind their bravery was much greater than his own.  They were the ones who didn’t even think themselves brave.
