Despite all his best attempts, Lilia had found out about Adol's near death experience in Celceta, complete with actual gravestone. There were even rumours of him appearing in person to loot his own grave for artifacts. Adol didn't think she was being serious when she threatened to drag him back to Esteria by the hair. She didn't get far but it would take a while to regrow the large bald patch. He considered turning into a Roo in the mean time. Roos didn't end up in the headlines. He admitted it was true, though: he shouldn't make her worry so.
