Sister Monica Joan looked round the table at all those with whom she was sharing her Christmas meal.  She was happy they were all back with her.  Not all, of course.  Sister Winifred had stayed at the mother house, and while Sister Monica Joan would miss her, she knew the other nun was in the right place for the next stage of her journey.  And the service on Christmas Eve, when Nurse Anderson had brought her friends to joined her in the chapel, would always be a highlight.  And now dinner was being served; truly this was a Merry Christmas.
