 They dream in the Halls of those who still live.

Fingon thinks that the dreams are even stronger here, where Irmo comes to visit his brother and brings with him dreams that could kill them if they weren’t already dead.

So he dreams and he watches the tapestries, and he screams when he realizes that Maedhros is going to jump, because this is not what he dreamed of for Maedhros’ future.

And then Maedhros is there, and when Fingon tells him what he dreamt of, Maedhros whispers “But us together was what I dreamed, and this is where you are.”

This is very nicely done. That last paragraph is particularly effective, and a great way to close the piece. Nice work.
