Smirking Zeke stuffed the money into his pocket when his look fell onto Casey. The boy was sitting on a bench nearby, watching him. „Anything wrong?“
„You can be such a manipulative prick.“
„Hm. Better that way around than others using and manipulating me.“
„That's so shallow.“ Casey pulled the face. „I'm sure you would be much happier if you'd try to be nice at least now and then.“
For a moment Zeke felt lost for words. Which didn't happen often. „You are the nice boy, Casey, I am not.“ Then he turned around, almost fleeing from the bleachers.
