You're running away. You don't stop to think of what will happen after; as far as you're concerned, there won't be an after. Your escape is merely a postponement of the inevitable: deresolution. Death. The end. It has already happened to so many of your brothers and sisters; why should you avoid that fate?
But you do, somehow. You make it to the Outlands, outrunning and outlasting those patrols that pursued you. And then you find Him: the User, the Creator. Flynn. He takes you in, begins to teach you, hides you. Saves you.
You sometimes feel he shouldn't have.
