Notes: This is an AU where young Sam is on the Grid the night of Clu's coup. He escapes with Tron and together they head for safety.
"Tron?"
He doesn't answer.
"Tron, where are we going?"
"The only safe place I can think of," he replies after a short silence.
"Where's that?"
"The isomorph annex. It's not too much farther. We'll be safe there, at least for a little while."
He can tell Sam is bristling with questions, so he continues. "The isos are... Flynn calls them 'biodigital organisms.' Clu hates them, and none of them are fond of him. We'll be safe there, unless he comes looking."
"So they're on our side?"
"It's... complicated. But the isos are no friends to Clu, at least. Come on."
