"Doc, you swore to me that you could bring a man back from the dead. Are you lying to me? Or are you too insane to do your job?" his eyes were hard, his voice flat.
"W... well, he has the potential for life, however, I do not have enough power to, ahem, activate him!"
"These things require lightning in the old tales, yes?"
"Indeed, Warden, however, they are only..."
Warden Kurtliegen hit the switch inside his prosthetic mining claw. Electricity flowed, crackling in an arc towards the unnaturally well preserved corpse on the slab.
Lance's eyes opened, shining red.
