Title: Poison in the Tea
Fandom: Albert Campion Mysteries
Rating: G

“You’re right,” Albert Campion said, as he straightened up, “it’s definitely poison, but who, or why, is harder to discern.”

“We all had access to the teacups,” Amanda replied, “so that doesn’t help to eliminate people.”

“But that would mean the poisoner had acted randomly, no guarantee who would get that particular cup.”

“But that’s where you’re wrong,” Amanda said.  “Miss Filbert always insisted on the cup with the daisy, so there was no question but that it was meant for her.”

Albert sighed.  “I presume nearly everyone apart from me knew this?”

Amanda nodded.

“That makes it even harder.”

Lovely little scene. More Work for the Undertaker also includes a clever use of poison and Amanda showing Campion up in the last page (although she isn't around for the whole case).
