Melia ran past, flapping both her arms and her head-wings at the same time and singing a ribald Nopon folk song. The procession following her was impressive.
"Look, it wasn't my fault, okay? It was just a prank! I thought jollyade only got Nopon drunk!"
"You shouldn't be pushing girls into ponds anyway," she told him, "And we'd already explained to you that we discovered the Imperial bloodline had at least some Nopon DNA."
"You're paying for the damages, Reyn," Dunban informed him.
