Title: 'The Boy'
Fandom: Original Poetry
Rating: G
Notes: None
Love letters and stuffed toys
Just remind me of the boy
Who tore my heart right out
And filled my mind with doubt
It's all an ugly, sorrowful pile
Of memories that merrily defile
My former peace of mind
There's nothing left to find
Of the love I used to feel
I wish I could conceal
All those memories now
But I never learned just how
To try him to forget
And to release regret
Guess I'll burn the evidence
Dump the ashes over the fence
And do my best to move on
And remember that the worst's best gone
