„Smith!“ Kurdy rushed over to his friend, who was cowering on the ground, rain-drenched. „We were looking for you for hours already. What's happened?“
The little guy opened his eyes. „Stumbled. Broke my leg.“
Kurdy's eyes wandered down the body; he winced when he noticed the open wound at the lower leg. Blood was sipping out of it; Kurdy could also make out some bone fragments. „Shit,“ he cursed.“ Don't move. I will get help.“
To his surprise, Smith smiled weakly. „Don't need to worry. An injury like this is bearable; the scars inside me hurt so much more.“
