Notes: Cordelia's waited up for Angel again.
Cordelia squared her shoulders and threw back her second glass of wine. She could hear Angel coming home at last. He was bleeding, as always this late, and she knew he'd fuss if she tried to care for him.
But damn it, if she didn't already care for the stupid man! She wouldn't've waited here all this time, praying and fretting, if she didn't love the bastard who was too absorbed in kicking his own ass to see it. But he was going to tonight. She showed him in a fiery kiss that she knew could curl any man's toes.
