If he wasn’t so desperate, the answer would be no. Ploughing hell, he would never even accept an invite to sit down with Redania’s Mad King, let alone work for him. Yet his options had run raw and he was left starved, beaten, and forcibly humbled.
He swore Radovid was loving every moment when he had to bow before him, his forehead nearly touching the boards as he gave him the respect he craved. One-sided, of course, but the hell was he going to say?
Radovid only flicked his hand at him as if he was dung. “What, Roche?”
