Surprised, the young woman looked up from her sandwich; it didn't often happen that Shaun himself started a conversation. „Yeah? Can I help you?“
He looking unsure; Claire smiled. „Okay, what's bothering you?“
„I wonder... have you ever written...“ He shrugged. „A love letter?“
For a moment, Claire felt out of words. She wasn't sure what to think about this question. Was it curiosity? Did Shaun plan to write one? Or, even more unthinkable, had he gotten one? Hesitating, she nodded. „Yeah, some of them. At highschool.“
Shaun beamed at her. „Good,“ he said and turned away.
