Even Ves stepped away from him, holding her nose as Geralt blinked at them both, oblivious to their disgust.
Roche only swallowed - twice - before glaring at the damned Witcher. “The fuck is that?” was the nicest thing he could say. Geralt frowned at them both, ignoring how the other Temerian soldiers took a step back from him. Then he shrugged.
“Katakan head.”
“A fucking what?” he snapped. “The fuck is a Katakan?”
“A vampire,” Geralt said, deadpanned. “Roche, I came here to ask a favor-”
“Whatever you fucking want, it’s going to wait until you get rid of that head!”
