Once, years ago, I longed for adventurous days
Getting in and out of scrapes in crazy ways
Because my life was just much, much too dull
Of normalcy this life of mine was overly full
But things have changed so disturbingly
Insanity is all that there is to see
Taking a dozen chances just going out the door
Strife is building up on Earth more and more
One day to the next, you just can't tell
If things will improve, or go more to Hell
This year has been so friggin' tough
Of excitement I have now had far enough
