Nigel was relieved to see Friday happy. Cake was always a gamble as a present. Provided he bought it in a store and didn't find it in a treasure chest in a dungeon, there was always at least a chance she'd love it. However, there was also a good chance she'd be worrying about her weight that day. She'd likely take it out on him.
For such a tiny creature, she sure could pack away a lot of cake, though.
