Once upon a time, there was a very strange woman. She had numerous brothers and sisters, which naturally resulted in numerous nieces and nephews.

But the nieces and nephews grew to fear their aunt. Every time she saw them, she'd say that she loved them so much that she could just eat them up. And this, strangely enough, resulted in her doing just that.

She always felt bad later, as she did love the kids. But she decided that it wasn't worth informing her unsuspecting siblings.

Thus, the nieces and nephews reduced in number, until there were no more left.
