The Roo chirruped at her again, pointing to the fruit that hung from a high branch of the Roda tree.
"You've made me think, little one," Reah smiled, "You might have given me a good idea."
The Roo did not care that he had triggered a process by which humanity might be able to live with the demonic essence, keeping it in check, as Roos did naturally, making it unnecessary to abandon magic altogether and bring their society backwards several ages. He only cared that he was being held up by a flying Goddess, close enough to reach the fruit.
