The Cybermen know that their functionality surpasses any less-evolved lifeforms that the universe holds. Conformity is equality. Difference is irrational.

Warfare, hatred, and any other negative aspect of life can be removed, never to trouble anyone again.

This is the best way. Any germ of resistance that cannot be reasoned out of existence must be stamped out. It is incompatible.

There is no compromise. There is no such thing as compromise. Any attempt at compromise is immaterial.

The Cybermen know only one way to prove their superiority against detractors, rebels, and the like.
