The Divine Beast of Earth spoke their name into Rean's mind but what he heard was that familiar low, soft whump-whump like a gale howling through a dark, empty void. It was as if the knowledge, even the concept of the name had been lost, deliberately erased from the collective memory of every living thing in Zemuria.
Rean had lost his name like that, once, to the Curse. He'd felt again as if something was consciously targeting him, removing him from history, fate itself.
As his friends had for him, he'd need to fight the Beast to bring it back.
