Hikage looked from Teru to Hinata and how they were curled together, asleep under the kotatsu. For the briefest of moments, she was jealous, even though she'd been the one who'd volunteered to stay late and it had certainly gotten cold, so the kotatsu was an excellent idea.
"You're home..." Teru cracked an eye open and smiled at her.
"Hmm? Did I fall asleep?"
Hikage couldn't help laughing. "I'm home."
"Good, now get under here, there's plenty of room."
Nodding, Hikage set down her bag and peeled off her jacket.
There was plenty of space for three, content and warm.
