Title: 'Butterflies'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Rating: G
Notes: Crossposted to anythingdrabble. Please pardon any typos; my Internet connection on my laptop has taken a few days off, so I'm doing this on my phone.
I've felt that fluttering inside me before. That flittery, jittery sensation in the soul.
It's the thawing out of a heart. It's the dawning of affection.
It's the emergence of butterflies in the stomach.
Yes, I've been there, myself, once. I've known what that feeling is like. It's strong, and difficult to resist.
Do you know what to do with those butterflies, once they've startedc dance around like that within you?The answer is very simple.
You take those stomach-butterflies, and shove them right back into their damn cocoons, where they belong!
After all, who needs them, anyway?
