“What do you think?” Inspector Slack asked, passing Miss Marple an old photograph.

“Well, people do change their appearance,” she said.  “And not necessarily to deceive.  Aging plays its part, of course, and then hair styles will be different over time.”  She peered more closely at the picture, before nodding.  “Oh yes, that’s Tobin.  He’s done his best, but the bone structure is the same.  Which means he did know both the women who died, despite his denials.  Such a shame, one would have liked to believe the best of him, even when one feared it wouldn’t be the case.”
