"Let's try this again..."
Cagalli could see Lacus attempting to reset something, but it didn't help. It just wasn't their day and with a shared sigh, they both reached to switch their video conference to audio-only. The audio wasn't distorted or static-filled, at least, and with a couple of keys, Cagalli had selected a nice photograph of Lacus as a place-holder.
"At least I already have the documents," Cagalli commented. Trade agreements, already well-settled, were printed and in-hand. There wasn't much to discuss. Talking face-to-face would have been best, but...
"Right."
She could hear Lacus' smile.
"Let's try this again."
