Ros Myers smiled politely at her host, thanking him for the invitation to his party, before glaring at him behind his back.  Originally it had seemed an excellent cover for Adam and herself to be able to get close to the couple they were interested in, until she’d realised it was a Heroes and Villains party.

She spotted Adam and went to join him.  “I’m surprised you didn’t try to bring Lucas,” she said.  “That werewolf adores parties.”

“I did suggest it to him,” Adam said.  “Only I’ve come as Dick Whittington, and he refused to come as the cat!”
