The embassy official turned to Adam and said, “Your dog seems to be digging for treasure.”

“Oh dear, so he is,” Adam replied.  “Ambrose!  Ambrose, stop!” he ordered ineffectively.  The large wolf-like animal ignored him and continued to dig enthusiastically.

“I’m terribly sorry,” Adam apologised.  He wandered across the lawn, arriving just as the animal unearthed what appeared to be a cache of guns.

“Hmm,” Adam said.  “I believe he has found treasure.”

The official glared at Adam, but remained silent, as the head of security hurried over.

Adam watched their silent interchange, then said, “I think we’d better leave.”
