Nefera paused, fingers tracing over a figure carved from precious stone. The golden hieroglyphics painted along the back had been smudged over the years, but surely she was above needing to read the instructions. If it would do what she needed, then that would be perfect. It might... overdo things a bit, but that wasn't her problem.

Drawing the treasure into her hand, Nefera smiled. She'd proven too much for the fashion world, and the coaching world, and several other professions that her father had suggested...

But she'd make her mark one way or another.
