Lanshi had saved them all again.
Just before the storm of crimson chaos in her head could overtake her, Ajna was knocked back by a barking wall of fluff that sat firmly on top of her and licked her face thoroughly enough to soak her hair in dog saliva.
For such a huge, theoretically imposing dog, Lanshi was no use in battle. Not as a fighter, anyway. He just ran around barking or fell asleep. Although you could charge his fur with lightning magic.
His true skills lay elsewhere. He was a loyal companion and an all round Good Dog.
