The additional blankets help, but Sana still presses close when Magna gets back under the covers.
“My hero,” she mutters against Magna’s shoulder.
Magna snorts. “I don’t believe either of us operate under the illusion that we’re heroes.”
Sana laughs. “You’re the one who braved the cold for more blankets.”
“That was necessity.”
Sana hums her agreement, then asks, “Vulaada warm enough?”
“She got the last of our soup and has the space heater,” Magna reminds. “And she has Korin to complain to.”
“Or Gurtyl,” Sana adds. “The Rebellion would think we’re heroes.”
Magna rolls her eyes. Sana kisses her.
