"Oh, there are many devoted knights, both of the Empire and among our enemies. Vargas fights as hard as me though he may leave behind a wife and child. I trust Laird with my life. Its important to respect all honourable warriors, no matter what side they're on," a faint smile crossed the General's lips as he glanced pointedly at Elwin, whose heart missed a beat, "Kaiser Bernhardt first told me that. I'll take you to him once we can return to Rayguard. Then you'll understand."
Elwin blushed, already understanding.
