The world was falling apart. Skye had been right. This world wasn’t real. He wasn’t real. Strange. It had never occurred to him that this world and everything in it could be anything less than real. He had lived, loved, and lost plenty, but apparently none of that had been real. Now it was all coming to an end. He wouldn’t even see his Skye again. He had hoped that when the other one returned to her world, his version would come back to him. Instead the world itself had begun to fray. He never even got to say goodbye.
