This time, he had diamonds from Liston in his pockets and chests of trinkets and fabric from all over. Hopefully, the lot of it would make up for an absence of two years.
Darius smiled as he introduced himself at the castle gate, sure that his disguise was the same as the last time he'd visited 'selling' curios to the princess, queen, and the castle's rather-beloved prisoner. It didn't take long to be ushered inside and treated as a valuable guest.
If the guards only knew--
Though given the kingdom's prosperity since Olivia had taken control, perhaps they'd thank him.
