"If it's any comfort to you," River was quick to reassure, "I've been arrested for stranger reasons than this."
The Doctor sighed, nodding. "So have I, many times. It's just that..." He rubbed the back of his neck, looking confused, and a good deal irritated. "It seems to me that treating a person like a criminal simply because their clothing has pockets to it..."
"It seems that the justice system is scraping the bottom of the barrel regarding arrestable offenses," she finished for him. "I suppose it's one way to deter pickpockets."
"One very obsessive way, if you ask me!"
