Some people talked about finding comfort in the bottom of a bottle. That’s not what Jessica was after. She knew there was no comfort to be found there. There wasn’t any comfort for her anywhere. Not since Kilgrave. What Jessica was looking for, was oblivion. She had yet to find it. She kept looking. There was a kind of comfort in that. The ability to forget for even a little while would be a gift. She desperately wanted to forget, but she didn’t deserve it. Jessica Jones felt she deserved to live with her sins, every last one of them.
