Seteth softly cleared his throat and pulled the page from the envelope, unfolding it carefully.
He'd been expecting a question, perhaps, or a report on his current work. But instead there was an invitation, deep with veiled meaning, and for a moment Seteth was nearly impressed.
His response would need to sound measured, of course, but most certainly he'd accept.
