“Is Lucas okay?” Jo asked.

Malcolm and Lucas had gone out together to have coffee.

“Yes,” Ros replied.  “When I got to the police station he was sitting in a corridor; a constable keeping him company.  He was no longer shaking but still very stressed.  I’ve arranged for the interview to be done later, citing PTSD; we’ll find somewhere suitable for it.”

“What triggered him?”

“The inspector asked him to wait in an interview room while he went to get something.  He shut the door as he left and the next he knew Lucas shot out in a complete panic.”
