“Ugh!” groaned Lestrade.
“Yes,” said Mycroft sympathetically.
“Ugh!” groaned Lestrade.
“I know. Terrible.” Mycroft also tut-tutted, just for good measure.
“I’ve captured hardened criminals!” protested Lestrade. “Very, very bad people.”
“Lots of them,” agreed Mycroft.
“I’ve fought against corruption, injustice, greed.”
“You’re a warrior, Gregory.”
Lestrade snorted. “Warrior! I don’t think so! Look at me. I'm down for the count.” He shook his head. “Laid low by my archenemy.”
“There aren’t many can eat three chili cheese and bacon dogs with onions and suffer no effects, Gregory. I’ll get you some medicine.”
Lestrade brought his fist to his chest. “Please.”
