Kagero silently appraised the enemy camp, noting numbers, mounts, and everything else she could. It had not been easy to find and she wasn't entirely sure she hadn't been spotted despite her skill. Gone were the early days of her forced summoning and servitude in this world; everything was more difficult and desperate.
Gone were the days when their bolstered forces seemed sane and willing...
But the decisions were not hers, she could not make them. She could only do as instructed, else--
Wincing at her bonds, Kagero finished her appraisal.
Time to return with her new information.
