She hadn't thought anything of it when Crow was absent again. He was always skipping class. He'd probably borrowed Angie's bike and escaped to Heimdallr for some fun in the big city. Almost certainly he was breaking several of the Academy's rules but Millium wasn't there to stop him doing that and anyway, she agreed they were way too restrictive, like you couldn't jump a horse into the pool even though the horse clearly enjoyed itself!
She'd been told to observe and report back on UNUSUAL behaviour, not things people were always doing. This mess was totally not her fault.
