Notes: Set during the first mission of the game.
She cradles her broken Ghost in her palm, trying to shield it with her body. His light flickers, weakened by the abrupt severance from the Traveller.
Not that she is better off. The last years she has lived off borrowed time, cheating death over and over; each death she has suffered drains her dwindling light. She can't help but feel it has finally come to claim her for good.
With the hulking figure of the cabal looming over her, taunting her, she clutches her Ghost tightly. He doesn't react. Holding his cold, battered shell helps, though, if only a little.
