Title: 'Desperate'

Over on Micky's side of the room, there was a lot of tossing and turning.
"What's the matter with you," Davy called from his own bed. "Can't you get to sleep?"
"No," Micky groaned, sitting up and holding his pillow like a stuffed toy. "It's really lousy, wanting to sleep, and not being able to."
"That is rubbish," Davy agreed. "I've got an idea."
"I'm desperate; let's hear it."
"Why don't you imagine that Mister Babbitt is telling you the story of his life?"
"Good idea." Micky settled back down. Soon, he was snoring.
Davy chuckled. "Worked like a charm."
