Notes: Sebastian Schlencht-Wöhnert (Ludwig Dieter) cracks his first safe.
“This isn’t me,” Sebastian murmured to himself as the others hefted their weapons. “I’m meant to be home practicing or at work or getting a coffee-.”
Then he saw the safe and the world narrowed down into golden rings, guiding him to the first challenge. Music swelled and boomed around him but there was nothing but silence between his ear and the warm metal. He placed reverent fingers lightly on the face of the safe and whispered, “I renounce it all. I’m here, my love.”
“Can you do it?” she hissed impatiently.
“Of course,” he replied with clear blue confidence.
