He had been there all along, and like their Princess, he had helped to lure her into battle, adventure, and conquering her own fears. He had always been a gentle beast, and now as she laid her forehead against his, the horse seemed to be crying. "I know, Argo," Gabrielle whispered softly, her heart breaking all over again. "I miss her too." It seemed impossible their Princess was gone. It was like all the lights had been sucked out of their lives. But they would somehow go on together. She knew it was what Xena would want for them both.
