The knock at the door tore Fritz's attention from the perfect pair of daggers he'd been polishing. They were a new commission, suited more for show than combat and decorated to catch and reflect light. Though perhaps that could work in battle...
He was expecting to find Annelie on the other side of the door, but instead it was Vixel, who was definitely a welcome visitor.
"Am I interrupting?" Vixel questioned, glancing past Fritz to the spread of weapons beyond.
"Just debating where to work something new into my act."
Fritz grinned at Vixel.
"But now I think I know."
