Sometimes, Mels could laugh outright at how dense Amy is.
How can she be so blind? Rory has been following Amy around since they were kids. He's obviously head over heels in love with her. And all she does is treat him like some tagalong puppy.
It isn't as though the two lack any chemistry; Mels can practically smell it coming from them. One of these days, she'll get Amy to see Rory as more than just another friend.
Besides, she has a personal interest, a stake of her own--her life, itself--in the two of them getting together.
