Wrecker just stares as Hardcase finishes his rant about the changes to their thermal detonators and why the previous ones were more efficient. Hardcase pauses, then rubs at his head. He cringes. “What?”
“I’d listen to you talk about weapons all day,” Wrecker tells him. He could. He’s not sure how often he’ll get the opportunity, but they’re alone together now.
“Oh,” Hardcase says. His cheeks flush. He glances away. “Usually by now someone tells me I’m getting too detailed.”
“Explosives require details!”
“Exactly!” Hardcase agrees. “Did you see how they improved the DC-15A’s?”
Wrecker pulls him into a kiss.
