"This has to be the greatest humiliation," the Doctor sighed, trying to ignore River.
"I think you're cute this way," she glowingly responded, tilting her head. "Though the tweed and the fez clash rather gaudily with the Christmas lights."
"You didn't have to tie me up in them!"
"This is what you get for not having taken down the TARDIS' Christmas decorations any sooner."
"Time machine," he reminded her. "Anytime can be Christmas, if I want it to be."
"But taking this long does seem a bit overdone."
The Doctor shrugged at himself. "And this doesn't seem overdone to you?!"
